Marina Park Beach is a new park in Newport Beach with a north-facing beach on Newport Bay. This facility was recently constructed on the old site of Las Arenas Park and is geared at families with a large grass park, playgrounds, picnic tables, and basketball courts. Adjacent to the park is the Marina Park Community Center and Sailing Center where parties, weddings, and other events can be held. Hungry? Kayakers and stand-up paddleboarders often launch from this spot and there are kayak and SUP rentals available on site. It’s a short walk to Newport Pier Beach where you can find restaurants and other amenities.
