Its name may evoke filthy pirates and hard-to-find riches, but Treasure Island Beach & Tide Pools is impeccably clean and incredibly accessible. The beach is managed in a partnership between the city and Montage Resort. The result is pristine sand and excellent facilities. Toward the southern end of Treasure Island Beach Park, which sits atop the bluffs, you’ll find a ramp that leads down to the sand. This beach is a long one—stretching all the way to Aliso Creek in the south.
