St. Ann’s Beach is a narrow sandy beach at the end of St. Ann’s Drive in Laguna Beach. Surfing and bodyboarding are both popular here. At times a lifeguard station will be manned, but don’t swim here unless they say it is safe. The rip current at St Ann’s is considered the strongest in Laguna due to a break in the reefs just offshore. Swim to the side (along the shore) if you get caught in the current as it’s a futile effort to try and swim in against the current.
