Take some time to visit the Nature Center by the entrance to Doheny State Beach. There’s plenty to see: a tide pool, 5 ocean environment tanks with critters found in each area, mounted displays of the mammals and birds that call Doheny home and much more. The Visitor Center Store has moved to our “Pop Up Shop” on the boardwalk near Tower 12 and the bike rentals. It is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am-3:30pm (weather permitting).
