Seal Beach, and its picturesque pier, are located in the city of Seal Beach, a small beachside community wedged between Long Beach and Huntington Beach. It is the northernmost beach and coastal town in Orange County. Seal Beach is a wide sandy beach packed with sunbathers and surfers on sunny days. At the north end it is bounded by the San Gabriel River mouth and on the south end by a jetty protecting the entrance to Anaheim Bay.
