The private communities of Cyprus Cove and Cyprus Shore share a beach that is actually the southernmost beach in Orange County. Their private access is a walkway to a railroad underpass that opens on a nice sandy beach. The community maintains facilities next to the small parking lot near the beach. Volleyball courts are provided along with a beach picnic area. The entrances to Cyprus Cove and Cyprus Shore is from Cristianitos Road off I-5. Trestles Beach in San Onofre State Beach is south of here and San Clemente State Beach is just north. Anyone can walk on the sandy shores to Cyprus Beach from either of those state beaches. Note that this beach is commonly spelled Cypress Shores even though it’s different than the community names.
