Lido Isle is a jam-packed housing community on an island in the middle of Newport Bay in Newport Beach, CA. In a small gap between homes is a sandy plot with a playground for kids. This park and the adjacent beach is signed for residents and their guests only. The north-facing beach spans the waterfront in front of about 30 fancy Lido Isle houses. Signs make it clear that dogs, boats, and picnicking are not allowed at this beach. A small dock makes it easy to jump into the bay. Benches are provided for watching swimmers and kids at the park. Look for street parking spaces near the intersection of Via Lido Nord and Via Genoa. Marina Park is an alternative beach on the bay that is open to the general public.
