Laguna Beach’s most widely-known surf break, is Thalia Street Beach. The most optimal (and really only) learning spot in town. A beach so beloved that by midsummer many families don’t even discuss their Saturday plans – it’s all Thalia Street, all the time. For what it’s worth, Thalia Street Beach deserves its much fawned-over status. The surf break is gentle, consistent, and ride-able on more days than any other spot in the city. It’s also an easy walk to Main Beach or Downtown.
