The City of Dana Point Interpretive Nature Center is a destination where the public can discover the rich history of the Dana Point Headlands and learn the natural history of this iconic area. Interpretive panels inside the facility tell the story of how the Dana Point headlands and shoreline have borne witness to change in both ancient and recent times. The panels explain the geological formation, and help the visitor understand the valuable plants and animals found in the area, in addition show how recent restoration and outreach aim to conserve these resources for future generations.
